Do you power wash?

Yes. Our power washing team will clean your entire home the week before it is scheduled to be painted. We use biodegradable cleaning agents that won’t harm your landscaping. In many instances, mildew growth will be evident on various surfaces of your home. Our washing solution includes enough bleach to sterilize the mildew and keep it from growing through your new coating. Please note that the washing process will streak your windows, so we suggest holding off on cleaning them until after your home has been painted. We include window washing with every whole house exterior paint project.

Do you spray?

Many homes in the area have masonite siding, which is very susceptible to moisture damage. The underside of each siding board is especially prone to moisture entry because it is a rough cut or “end-grain.” If you have a newer home and look at this area on your siding, it will look thin, and probably have some mildew growth. The odds are very good that your home was sprayed when it was built. Hand-painting allows you to apply the proper amount of paint to this area to insure its protection – spray does not.

How long will my job take?

Completion time varies, depending on the size of the home, its complexity, and the number of finished coats applied. The average home takes a four-person crew less than 5 business days – weather permitting.

What kind of paint do you use?

We use a variety of paints, depending on the job. Common types are: Sherwin Williams, Glidden, Benjamin Moore and others. We do not have a constant because certain types have specific benefits and applications compared to others.

Do you provide any other services?

Paint Co provides many additional services that can be added to any project. Power Washing, Gutter Cleaning, Window Washing, Custom Carpentry, Wood Repair, and Driveway & Sidewalk Cleaning. All of these services address the maintenance and visual upkeep of your home, and go hand in hand with a fresh coat of paint. We want to help you keep your home looking its best!

How often should we paint our home?

If it hasn’t been painted since it was built, sooner is better. Experts recommend re-coating every 5 years after a one-coat application, and 7 or 8 years after a 2-coat application.

Do you repair damaged wood or replace Masonite siding?

ABSOLUTELY! We provide full carpentry services and can repair all types of rotted surfaces using the latest non-rot materials. We also do whole home replacement of Masonite siding with HardiPlank siding.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry a $1,000,000 liability policy, as well as full Worker’s Compensation. Our insurance company would be glad to fax or mail you a copy of the policy with your name and address listed as the covered party. Prior to every project, you will recieve a copy of our insurance with your home listed.

Do you have references?

Absolutely! The testimonial section of this website includes customer comments as well as a list of all the homes we have painted in the past two years by zip code. Take a look at some of the homes we have painted near you! We will also be happy to leave you with an abbreviated reference list that includes phone numbers, so you can speak with some of our customers directly, or go see their homes.
